Tracey Gates, author of The Power of A Few Kind Words: Create a More Meaningful Life One Letter at a Time, challenged herself to write an unexpected, handwritten letter of appreciation to a different person every day for one year. What she found on her transformational journey was that we all want to know we matter and being interested in those around us is one of the kindest and most nourishing things we can do both for ourselves and others.
Join Tracey in this interactive class as she guides you in the simple yet overlooked practice of writing your own unexpected letter of appreciation so you can experience for yourself the delicious gift of sharing… a few kind words. You will leave with a draft of letter that will make both your day and the day of your lucky recipient.
This is not your typical thank you letter! Tracey encourages you NOT to use the words “thank you” in your letter but, to write specifically and sincerely what you appreciate, admire or respect about someone.
Do you want to:

Each hemisphere in our brain has an emotional brain and a thinking brain. With facilitator, Harriet Porter, LCSW, Jill introduces us to the four characters in our brain and shows us how each display particular skills, feel specific emotions or think distinctive thoughts. The more we become familiar with each of the characters in ourselves and others, the more power we gain over our thoughts, our feelings, our relationships and our lives. We discover that we have the power to choose who and how we want to be in every moment. When our four characters work together and balance one another, as a whole brain, we gain a radical new road map to deep inner peace.
