Wine and Chocolate Tasting Special Event

Wine and chocolate have more in common than you might think. While we know wine and chocolate can excite the senses, there is also a science that makes them pair well together. Wine and chocolate both contain flavanols and tannins that can complement each other when thoughtfully paired together to create amazing combinations! In this seminar, we will be sampling a variety of wines and different chocolates for you to identify your favorite pairings and gain an understanding of why they work together. Join us to learn more about the science and the experience. You will also gather creative and unique ideas for holiday gift giving and entertaining.The seminar will be led by sommelier Sharen de Boer-Oosterveld of Vin and Leslie Finn, former chocolate manager for Marshall Fields.
